The company
This Bengaluru startup builds one commerce platform for growing D2C brands in India. A brand runs its storefront, WhatsApp selling, orders, couriers, returns and marketplace stock in one place, instead of stitching together a dozen tools.
Its sharpest edge is protecting profit on every order: AI checks on cash-on-delivery orders, courier choice by pincode, and fast recovery when a delivery fails.
Why we back it
The founders lived with the problem every day: parcels returned undelivered quietly erasing the profit on every sale. The fix is software that decides well, order by order, and that is the kind of engineering and AI we do best.
The problem it solves
Growing D2C brands in India juggle a storefront, several marketplaces, WhatsApp, a handful of courier companies and spreadsheets for returns. Every tool has its own login and its own version of the truth.
Cash on delivery is still a large share of their orders, and that is where profit leaks:
- buyers refuse cash-on-delivery parcels at the door, and the brand pays shipping both ways;
- failed deliveries head home because nobody fixed a wrong address in time;
- one courier is used for every pincode, even where it delivers badly;
- stock sold on a marketplace is sold again on the brand’s own store.
How the platform works
Brands get a fast storefront with a quick checkout, a WhatsApp catalogue with abandoned-cart reminders, and one order view for every channel. From there, every order is protected on its way to the buyer:
- checks before shipping: each cash-on-delivery order gets a risk score from address quality, the pincode’s delivery history and the buyer’s past orders with the brand, and risky orders are confirmed on WhatsApp or offered a small discount to pay online;
- courier choice: each order goes to the courier that delivers best to that pincode;
- failed-delivery recovery: when a courier reports a failed attempt, the buyer is messaged on WhatsApp straight away to fix the address or choose a new time;
- returns and exchanges: buyers request them from their order page, a reverse pickup is booked, and the item is checked before the refund or replacement.
Stock stays in sync across the brand’s store and its marketplaces, so the same item is never sold twice.
What FIRELIFE built
FIRELIFE engineers build the core platform with the startup’s team. We built:
- the AI that scores cash-on-delivery orders and picks the courier for each pincode;
- the WhatsApp flows for order confirmation and failed-delivery recovery;
- the order and stock engine that keeps every channel in step;
- analytics that show return rates by pincode, courier and product;
- an architecture that stays fast through the traffic spikes of festive sales.
How we work together
The founders lead brands, operations and partnerships; FIRELIFE leads the technology. Our engineers plan and ship with the startup every week, and we review product, pilot results and spending with the founders every month.

What does this Bengaluru commerce startup do?
It is a Bengaluru startup, backed by FIRELIFE Ventures, building one commerce platform for growing D2C brands: a fast storefront, selling on WhatsApp, AI checks on cash-on-delivery orders, courier choice by pincode, failed-delivery recovery, returns and exchanges, and stock in sync with marketplaces.
What is RTO in e-commerce, and why does it matter?
RTO, or return to origin, is a parcel that comes back undelivered, often a cash-on-delivery order the buyer refuses. The brand pays shipping both ways and earns nothing, so a high RTO rate can wipe out a brand's profit.
How do AI checks on cash-on-delivery orders work?
Each cash-on-delivery order gets a risk score from the address quality, the pincode's delivery history and the buyer's past orders with the brand. Risky orders are confirmed with the buyer on WhatsApp first, or offered a small discount to pay online.
What is an NDR, and how does the platform handle it?
An NDR, or non-delivery report, is the courier's notice that a delivery attempt failed. The platform messages the buyer on WhatsApp straight away to fix the address or choose a new time, and sends the answer back to the courier before the parcel heads home.
How is the courier chosen for each order?
Each order goes to the courier that delivers best to that pincode, based on delivery success, speed and cost, instead of one courier for everything.
Can a brand keep selling on marketplaces?
Yes. Stock is kept in sync between the brand's own store and the marketplaces it sells on, so the same item is never sold twice, and every order appears in one view.
How do returns and exchanges work?
Buyers request a return or exchange themselves from their order page. A reverse pickup is booked, the item is checked when it arrives, and the refund or replacement follows, with the buyer updated on WhatsApp.
Can the platform handle big sale days?
Yes. The platform is built to stay fast through the traffic spikes of festive sales, with storefront pages served from the edge and order processing that scales with demand.
What does FIRELIFE Ventures bring to the startup?
Investment, an engineering team that builds the core platform, the AI behind order checks and courier choice, product design, and cloud infrastructure built for sale-day traffic.
Can other startups pitch to FIRELIFE Ventures?
Yes. Founders with a working product and early customers can pitch through the contact page, choosing Pitch my startup.
